WSCD TV (Must See TV!!!)

As you might imagine the last 36hrs have been a whirlwind. First, Kelly is recovering as well as can be expected. Less than 6hrs after surgery she was able to view and hold the babies. All IV's are out..her post-op Hb was 9.0. Her final weight was 169lbs, today it was 144lbs!!( remember the IV iron therapy treatments!) Now pain management is next and breastfeeding. All Kelly has to do is hear one mother anywhere and we've heard from several, that have breast-fed multiples, and she's going to go for it!

Michael replies.."Now the "Goodfellas"..

(A) William Collier
(B) Sean Maddox
(C) Chase Alexander
(D) Dylan Patrick
Updates and Photos
William is doing well he came off C-PAP yesterday. He started his first bottle feed, then decided G-lavage was better, they feed them every 3hrs.

Sean is our free-spirit. He's never required oxygen and is bottle feeding well. But has been sleeping each time we've seen him. He may just be closing his eyes...these kids are starting their tricks already.

Chase actually our largest baby, is still on C-PAP. I changed his diaper day#1. I should post a ticker on diaper changes, but they probably stop at infinity! He's feeding well, by lavage though.

Dylan, the smallest, is very observant and alert. Kelly has fed him by bottle twice and he's requested more. I changed his diaper and he got me good..(I'm going to really have to watch this one!) He's on room-air now. I think he feels he has something to prove!

The Internet connection in the hospital is dial-up. Subsequently, I'll post more photos from the delivery when I get the disc from PR later today. Thanks to all the comments I've read them to her at the bedside and she's been smiling from ear to ear. Our hometown newspaper printed a nice story yesterday with the link below. We had a press conference yesterday that went well. Pictures to follow.

Kelly and Michael,

I'm so thrilled for all of you. I know you are very proud parents. Don't have any idea how to feed 4. I only had one at a time so my expertise is limited. (ha ha) Look forward to reading more about the babies...Take care and God bless.

Hey 5 Heartbeats (plus 2)!

Simply Amazing! Your family in Cleveland are excited and happy for the Malone's. Grandma Marie is already getting her plans together on how to organize the house for your first trip. However, Mallory of course said your not welcome cause that's just to much noise on the block. We love you. God Bless the 5 Heartbeats (plus 2).

Congratulations! Four beautiful brand new baby boys. Nice weights. Mom sure did a good job. I've been checking your website whenever I can since Dr. Malone (senior) delivered my fourth great-grandchild on August 10th back here in Columbus. He was already a proud grandpa. He must be so proud now. Best wishes to all, Mom, Dad, babies, big brother, and proud grandparents.

Congratulations on your new babies! They are adorable and seem to be doing quite well.

A bit of encouragement. Jenny Masche who delivered septuplets in June has talked about nursing them on her blog.

Michael, Kelly, Michael, William, Sean, Chase, and Dylan:
Hang in there, guys! Everything seems to be working out just fine. We keep all of you in our prayers daily. Keep good notes on all of these events and how you felt as things happened. Probably a hand-held tape recorder would be fine. Who knows? You might just want to write a novel in a few years about who, what, where and why! You could call it "Why Me, Lord? Why Me?" (smile). It would make for great reading!!
Love you all,

Hi Kelly and Michael,

It was so awe inspiring to see all of you in Nashville at Thanksgiving. What a milestone in our family's lives. It's just an incredibly wonderful feeling for all of us. We really look forward to seeing you all again. We want to see Kristy's decorated nursery, too. She has such excellent taste.

Here's my (your Aunt Debbie's) toast to you from the shower that was made to you at Mere Bulles in Brentwood on Saturday, Nov. 24, for your memorabilia.

Boys are found everywhere -- on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to. Kelly, I'm sure you've already found that out with T-Mike!

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

. . . enough rain to appreciate the sun.

. . . enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.

. . . enough pain to appreciate even the smallest of joys.

. . . enough gain to satisfy everything you want.

. . . enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them A toast to you, Kelly, Michael, T-Mike, Sean, Chase, William and Dylan.. You have all the love and support of our entire family. Kelly, this toast is to you, Michael, and your 5 boys--all very special people.
God works in mysterious ways that we cannot understand. You have been blessed as a special mother to 5 beautiful children. I know that you will do a beautiful job bringing them up. Remember to ask for help, take time for yourself, and always ask for what you need. Make everything a Team effort. Don't try to do it all by yourself. Mother's get worn out with just one baby because they're so demanding. A toast to you a a strong, loving, capable, invincible, beautiful woman, Kelly. -The End

[Focus on you and Michael's growing relationship, which was here before the boys came and continue to have date nights. You're a beautiful couple! You don't always have to leave the house to go out on a date. Have fun, be creative, pray, live, love, and laugh.

We love you guys,

Aunt Debbie and Uncle Renard
